Night Treats

Holiday season can be very joyful but also stressful. Lots of dinners to cram into a couple of days. Spending yet another couple of hours with your boss, who is super drunk and thinks that’s an excuse to hit on all the women at the party. Or those friends you only see once a year, if lucky… I mean, it’s great to relive some of those great memories, but there’s always the one who didn’t grow up at all, and still makes fart jokes at the table. When the time came for the one dinner I actually look forward to, the one with my close friends, I decided I’d do something different.  I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Julia for 7 years now. Two great kids, a 5-year old boy and a 2-year old princess. As you can imagine, we’ve got our handful with our jobs and the two little rugrats. Not much time for just the two of us. Mondays. Fucking Mondays. Woke up at 6.30 am after being up until almost 3 mindlessly watching some comedy show. Who's laughing now? Routines really slap you harder on Monday mornings... Same cereals for breakfast, same cologne, different suit but same look and feel. Walked 10 mins to the subway, waited 10 minutes more. What a wonderful start of day! I made my way through the crowd going in, able to find my way to the opposite door. It was only the second station but already getting quickly packed. I took my phone off and started playing those stupid little games everyone else plays. We stopped at the next station. Some people got off, but many more got in. I looked up and suddenly saw someone trying to squeeze through. My eyes widened at the sight of her. She was the most sexy thing I've ever seen on any public transportation. Auburn hair, mild skin, light wavy dress. Must be one of those girls working in fashion, as she seemed she'd gotten straight out of a magazine. ...

It was the day before my wife's birthday, and the chosen gift was a very sexy lingerie ensemble, thought to provoke something deep inside her. I went in the only specialty shop in the area. It's a small boutique, not much foot traffic. I was a bit nervous, having never done it before.
